Outline

The Aeronautics and Astronautics Course provides basic education in aerospace engineering, in liaison with seven laboratories belonging to the Departments of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Mechanical Engineering and Science, and Micro-engineering of the Graduate School of Engineering.

推進-プラズマIn this Course, students study fundamental mathematics, physics and chemistry in the first and second years and, based on this fundamental knowledge, receive more specialized education in aerospace engineering. They include subjects such as vibration and control engineering, fluid dynamics, gas dynamics, and aerodynamics, thermodynamics, statistical dynamics, aerospace propulsion, flight dynamics of aerospace vehicle, mechanics of solids, and experiments in aeronautics and astronautics. The students are also led to conduct relevant experiments. In the fourth year, the students are divided into small groups belonging to different laboratories. In each laboratory, the students learn the methodology of advanced engineering research under seminar-style individualized instruction.
